Handstretched alu frames
We do the stretching of our aluminum frames and plates the same way we do with our wooden frames.
From our experience, however, aluminum frames and plates are particularly stable, as there is no distortion of the frame, as can happen with wooden frames.
For a better understanding: Wooden frames are assembled by means of a plug-in system. Since wood is a natural material, assembling makes the frame warp faster. A re-measurement is therefore necessary to ensure that the frame was produced accurately (from corner to corner).
We check all our frames, whether wood or aluminum, on straight corners. That is, we use a tape measure to check the correctness of the corner-to-corner diagonal.
Aluminum frames and plates are already made to fit on the production side, warping of the frame is practically impossible.
For the hand-stretched aluminum frame, all fabrics can be used. Gluing and priming are also done according to the procedure for our wooden frames.
