Oval Frames

Oval framing is made from MDF (medium density fibreboard), because this wood is easier to process than other types of wood due to its lower strength, ie it can be bent into ovals. Every other wood would break.

By default, we only produce our framing for ovals to a depth of 1.8 cm and not above a size of 80 cm. For ovals over 80 cm we can not guarantee stability, as they may break during transportation / shipping. If such a framing breaks during transport, it must be reproduced, a repair is not possible.
