At our workshop at Bornemannstraße 10 in Berlin we have set up a separate room for you in which we not only have all the fabrics on offer in stock, but also do indvidual cuttings of those fabrics for you.

Please note that we only sell by the meter (running meters), ie the prices shown on our website are per meter, too, not square meter.

We have the following materials in stock for you, primed and unprimed:

• cotton
• linen
• jute
• Polyester (only primed)

All these fabrics are available in different grammages and qualities. Crucial is the density of the fabric, that is, how many meters of fabric come to a certain amount of the fabric. We stock fabrics in light, for example, 160 g / m², and dense, for example, 290 g / m², grammages.

Grammage plays a crucial role in further processing, too. Denser fabrics are better for priming and painting with different colors, as the fabric may warp or curl and may need to be re-stretched.

Depending on the technique of painting and depending on whether you use pastes or effects for your works, whether you are painting or brushing, we also offer different thread sizes, from fine to medium-fine, medium-coarse to coarse. We are happy to advise you according to your individual requirements.

Where our fabric comes from

Only a few companies specialize in fabrics for painting / professional artists. Since the fabrics for the fashion industry are subject to different standards, we have decided to collaborate with the specialists for painting and art.

We source our fabrics from the following countries:

• Germany (cotton unprimed)
• Belgium (linen primed and unprimed)
• Italy (all varieties and qualities)
• Poland (all varieties and qualities)
• India (all varieties and qualities)
