Drawing Ink is formulated with permanent pigments and a water-based natural resin. All colors can be diluted with water and mixed together. The ink adheres excellently to paper, cardboard and polyester, as well as most other surfaces. However, it is recommended to use higher grammage paper to absorb the ink; on fine-grained paper, the ink can soak through.
The colors can be used with a brush, ballpoint pen, airbrush or fountain pen, depending on the type of outline and the desired effect. Drawing ink is ideal for outlines, technical drawings and shading. It can be applied directly to the surface for a high-contrast result, or diluted with water to create graduated effects by applying several layers of different color intensity.
Pens, brushes and painting tools can be cleaned with water. For fine pens, it is recommended to clean the pen immediately after use with absorbent paper and not to let the ink dry on the tip. Brushes should be cleaned with water and dried thoroughly.
