DANIEL SMITH Walnut Ink is a finely pigmented, sepia-colored water-based ink made from walnut shells.
It is ideal for all types of drawing styles and works great with an ink pen or brush. With a brush, DANIEL SMITH Walnut Ink can be handled like a transparent watercolor with good layering. The rich color is similar to traditional walnut inks, but does not fade. Our walnut ink is wonderful for adding warmth and historical character. When used with calligraphy pens, our walnut ink gives the writing a beautiful, transparent, warm tone.
