GOLDEN OPEN Acryl Gel (Gloss) and OPEN Acryl Medium are formulated with 100% acrylic polymer dispersion and are developed to have the same pot life as OPEN Acrylics, making them ideal for use with this range of paints. Like OPEN Acrylics, OPEN media stays on the palette for extended periods of time without forming a 'skin'.
OPEN media can be used to extend color fluidity, adjust transparency, create glazes, increase gloss, reduce viscosity, or improve adhesion and film integrity.
OPEN media is fully compatible and can be mixed with most other GOLDEN acrylates, media and gels, with the open time of the resulting mixes being proportionally reduced.
OPEN Acryl Gel is supplied in the same consistency as OPEN Acryl colors and is used to prolong the colors while maintaining the processing properties.
