Product information "Holbein White IBIS Watercolor Paper"
White Ibis watercolor paper from the Holbein brand made of 80% high quality cotton. Thanks to its high grammage, it is dedicated to painting with watercolors and to all wet techniques, such as ink, gouache, acrylic and markers.
Holbein watercolor papers are created using traditional production methods in Japan. They are made to the rigorous standards set by Holbein's 120 years of experience in the development of fine art papers. This paper absorbs a large amount of water without leaving unsightly stains or deformations. These features provide the artist with high control over the image being made.
White Ibis Paper, thanks to its unique cotton blend, ensures predictable and reliable results every time. Additionally, it is acid-free and has a neutral pH. The unique surface of the paper allows paint to be removed, both wet and dry, revealing its perfect whiteness. This paper is very popular in Japan, where it is mainly used for calligraphy, illustrations, manga, sumi-ink and caricature.
