Gouache:
The advantage of our fine art gouache is the pure color, made from high performance lightfast pigments and without chalk or adulterants that affect the appearance of the color after drying.
Art gouache
Each color has been formulated with pure northwest honey to allow layer-by-layer application without cracking. Balanced amounts of gum arabic and water are combined with large amounts of pigment to achieve a high level of fluidity for bold brushstrokes and a direct, even application without loss of brilliance. Our gouache is made from high performance lightfast pigments. The nature of the individual pigments leads to variations in opacity. We leave the addition of white to the artist.

M. Graham watercolors are created with exceptional amounts of pigment in a time-honored binding medium of pure gum arabic, glycerine and natural blackberry honey.
Why Honey
As an essential ingredient in our binding medium, honey contributes to moistness for smooth, easily controlled applications, increased pigment concentrations, and freedom from over reliance on preservatives. Because of the honey medium, our watercolor resists hardening on the palette, or in the tube. It dilutes easily, often after months of disuse.
