Fixative Pastel Fixative AEROSPRAY Spray can 50402
Intermediate and final fixative for pastels and chalks with a high fixing effect on an alcohol basis. The spray is colorless and non-yellowing, as well as age-resistant and quick-drying.
Processing instructions
Shake the can vigorously before use and spray crosswise at room temperature from a distance of 30 to 40 cm onto the vertical or slightly inclined object. (Make sure to change the spray direction outside the object!)
The gloss level of the film depends on the absorbency of the surface, the painting technique and the thickness of the fixative layer. It is often a good idea to fix the work intermediately. Fixing painting materials with a low binder content such as pastels or chalks often leads to a significant deepening of the color tone. If too much fixative is used, the work may lose its "lightness". The product can also make painting surfaces such as paper more transparent. The usual layer thickness of the fixative has no significant influence on the UV resistance of the paint layer. We therefore strongly recommend working with high-quality paints that are as lightfast as possible from the start.
Clean any sticky spray heads with acetone.
Store in a cool, dry place.
Protect the pressure can from sunlight and temperatures above 50 °C.
Individual preliminary tests are recommended.
