The Secondary Edition is a complement to the Primary 3-Color Set and is a beautiful selection in its own right. It is remarkably versatile. By adding it to the primary colors, you mix shades with greater tonal consistency. Jewel colors complement each other and also act as the other half of the color wheel. 

Contains the following colors: 

Quinacridone Burnt Orange - Add to French Ultramarine Sky Washes to gray the blue mix and create a full color gamut. Use Quinacridone Burnt Orange to modify the sap green in landscapes and achieve rich, mossy greens that harmonize the land with the sky. All Quinacridone colors are highly durable and extremely transparent, with vibrant clarity and intensity. 

Undersea Green - A favorite among artisans, this exciting medium to strong coloring green combines French Ultramarine with Quinacridone Gold. The inorganic, sedimentary French Ultramarine settles and granulates while the organic, transparent Quinacridone Gold floats in a golden halo. Concentrated, it is reminiscent of warm seaweed. Apply with Moonglow, Ultramarines and Quinacridone blends to color coordinate and add atmosphere to different passages. Undersea Green is wonderful to the touch both wet and dry brushed with Interference Gold. Use underwater green in autumnal leaf paintings. Carbazole Violet - This slightly grainy blue-violet is an intense, vibrant color with strong coloring properties. A brushstroke of concentrated Carbazole Violet on dry paper shifts the pigment from black-violet to clear purple and can create an iris petal with each stroke. Add Indigo to Carbazole Violet, along with Quinacridone Rose or Anthraquinoid Red. Dab, squeegee and cut into wet passages to create veins, colorful passages and highlights.
