What is Absorbant?
It forms an absorbent underlayer called "chalk base". Absorbent substrates, previously made with Moudon + adhesive solution, can now be easily made.
As with Gesso, water-based acrylic emulsions are used as adhesives for ease of handling.
Absorbent primers bind the medium contained in the paint, brightening the paint film and creating a matte, vibrant color. It also dries extremely quickly, especially when used with oil paints.
It can be used as a base for a wide range of paints, including acrylics, water-soluble oil paints Duo and tempera paints, and oil paints.
