Sludge is a by-product of the acrylic paint manufacturing process. Sludge has the same processing properties as regular acrylic paints and can be used as a paint, primer or painting medium.
Recycled pigments are also excellent as gesso! Tri-Art uses recovered pigments from the manufacturing process to produce a high quality gesso.
