Linen weave is the simplest and certainly the oldest type of weave: here yarns of the same size are woven together in warp and weft directions. The result is a uniform lattice that looks the same from the right and left. Due to its long fibres, linen fabric is extremely tear-resistant. High air permeability and absorbency are just a few of the many properties of this fabric.
